OCTOBER 24, 2023

Queretaro (Mexico) will host the XIV Latin American Anaerobic Digestion Workshop and Symposium (DAAL XIV) on October 23-27, 2023. This event, the main platform to present anaerobic digestion scientific and technological advances in Latin America, is supported by the International Water Association (IWA) and its anaerobic digestion specialists group.

Organized by the Engineering Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), DAAL XIV will be a space to discuss new advances and scientific and technological challenges of processes related to anaerobic wastewater treatment, valorization of solid waste, nutrients recovery and other value-added products, emphasizing their contribution to the circular economy.

The Congress topics are:

teCH4+ presentation and technical visit

On Wednesday 25 October at 11:15h, as part of the “Emerging technologies for sludge digestion and organic wastes” session, teCH4+ will present “Thermal hydrolysis ´wh´ questions answered through pilot and full-scale experiences”.

On Friday 27 October, teCH4+ will attend the technical visit to the Atotonilco WWTP, considered the largest hydraulic engineering infrastructure ever built in Latin America.
