Fquih Ben Saleh WWTP

2025 Morocco

The Fquih Ben Saleh (FBS) WWTP is a strategic decision by OCP Group, the world's largest producer of phosphate fertilisers, which promoted this WWTP designed to treat urban wastewater for reuse in phosphate mining, thereby minimising pressure on water resources.

OCP decided to complement the water line with a high-performance sludge line, and the specifications required the incorporation of thermal hydrolysis as a key element to maximise anaerobic digestion performance.

This project marks the beginning of the geographical expansion of teCH4+, which is consolidating its position as a benchmark in international energy efficiency and water reuse projects.

This urban wastewater reuse project in phosphate mining marks the beginning of the international expansion of teCH4+.
