Papers

Papers are the scientific and technical foundation on which teCH4+ technology is developed. They include works focused on anaerobic digestion, thermal hydrolysis and the energy recovery of organic waste, and reflect the evolution of knowledge from initial research through to commercial implementation.

This section brings together papers directly linked to the development, validation and evolution of the Polanco Process for continuous thermal hydrolysis. The documents present results obtained in pilot plants and at industrial scale, as well as analyses of design, operation and energy efficiency. Their relevance lies in the fact that they reflect the transfer of knowledge from applied engineering to commercial technology.
It includes academic papers developed within the University of Valladolid, where the research line on thermal hydrolysis applied to anaerobic digestion began and was consolidated. These works form the scientific basis for the subsequent development of the technology and address key aspects such as kinetics, solubilisation, energy integration and pretreatment assessment.
