IWA 2014 Honour Award to Continuous Thermal Hydrolysis

The International Water Association (IWA) presented its «2014 Europe and West Asia Regional Awards» on 25 June 2014 at a ceremony in Brussels (Belgium), during the Water Innovation Europe Conference 2014 at Diamant Conference Center.

On the Design Projects category, an Honour Award was received by the University of Valladolid & Aqualogy (Spain) for «Improving anaerobic sludge digestion. A novel Continuous Thermal Hydrolysis (CTH) process».

This is yet another evidence that Thermal Hydrolysis is increasing its relevance in the wastewater industry, becoming the pre-treatment of choice to improve the efficiency of anaerobic digestion.
